i'm so glad i deleted my waffles a long time ego and put my efforts and time into this one - it's turning to be one of the best trackers out there.
All they have to do now is take care of security issues, we don't wanna see Oink happening all again.

Yeah, what.cd is one of my favorite trackers. Waffles just isn't as innovative as what.cd is, and gazelle is just great. :)

They are both great trackers no matter what! I am really happy and proud to be part of both these communities and I believe that everyone should feel the same!

Waffles may have decent content, but it isn't on par with what.cd in any other way. The tracker itself just isn't progressive. I rarely delete my account at any tracker, but for waffles I felt it was necessary.

i hope other trackers have the same idea to make "the life with the tracker" better and easier to share..

I like how in Gazelle you can search from the top by artist, title, etc. (i.e. from the top of the columns). It's way sexeh.

Each time better.

I have never used Waffles, and only recently joined What, but I have found What to be superior to what my experience with Oink was, which I had had my doubts about... took a few days to get used to Gazelle, but now that I am, I really like it. Hard to imagine that Waffles could really be that much better, if it is at all.

Another feature I'll never use. :/

Good one though.

I have always preferred Waffles...

I may have to check out my What.Cd account and see how much it has changed..

Didn't like what much. Didn't really find what I like. My account got pruned

I prefer Waffles over what but everyone has their preferences so to each their own I suppose.

In regards to What, all I can say is that since I've joined, I've done a lot of searches and have only come up empty once, and it was a pretty obscure band that I was searching for that time. I have been pretty impressed thus far.

Comparitively to Oink, from my point of view it seems like they probably have a very comparable selection in amount of albums.. and I would say they offer considerably more in choice of format.

These kind of trackers deserve donations. People should never donate to wannabe elite private trackers like ScL and RTS.

What.cd at 202,000 torrents has around 40,000 more files than Waffles, I' think OiNK was around the 500,000 mark when that sad day came round last year.

So there's still a long way to go but not bad going for sites that are less than a year old.

What.cd imo is greater than Waffles in every respect & I've said this here, there & everywhere since day 1

say for lossless: torrents.php?page=1&order_by=s3&order_way=DESC&action=advanced&bitrate=Lossless

use that as an example.

How ignorant. You should donate because the tracker means something to you. I would donate to a few of the sites I am on, but am unable to do so because of my situation in real life. Every person decides for him/herself whether or not a tracker is special enough to donate to.

as far as peers and # of torrents yes but the forums at What are boring. They both serve their purpose and you can find albums on Waffles you can't find on What and vice versa. I am not sure why everyone wants has to make it a competition between sites all the time.

+1 I'm a huge fan of both. I need both because many times one has what the other does not... Usually Waffles for more rare stuff, What if Waffles doesn't have a v0 up or something.

people have to realize the coding involved. building a new site from the ground up with new source code like what.cd did is 100 times easier than migrating an established site to an all new source code. Trying to code new features into the TBsource-code that most sites use is such an incredible pain in the ass, most decide to just accept the source code they have.

OiNK had 220k torrents actually...

Also, I'd like to point out that you've been able to create rss notifications on Waffles for months now... Go to search.php and click the rss link near the bottom...
The only thing it doesn't do is allow you to type in multiple artists, but this would be really easy to code... :P

Apologies I thought there was many more that, these two site have really done phenomenally well in 9 months or so.

I'm guessing that what & waffles have more duplicated albums in the various formats than OiNK did...

I certainly prefer Waffles over What mainly because I honestly haven't learnt the cool features of Gazelle(not interested in learning them either). I've always preferred a minimalistic layout which Waffles provides.
The waffles community is fast becoming my favourite, staff are pretty laid back and the ambience is nice. What.cd is slightly uptight for my liking.

But they're both a bitch to seed on,that's for sure!
