I am curious what is the difference between flac and mp3. its all same for your ipods.Beside 128 kbps mp3 file a little space in your mp3 players and/or hard drives

Big difference. Comparing a 128kbps mp3 to FLAC is like comparing a '74 Gremlin to a '08 Ferrari. Just listen for yourself.

for a low end desktop setup and most portable devices, flac is pointless. The only reason in either of those situations that you would want/need flac, is for the future.
Flac quality can only be appriciated with those that have the equiptment capable of playing it.

Think of it this way: Would you really need a blu-ray player if you only had an SDTV (not HD compatable)? It would be nice to have for the future, but you are really not getting anything out of having it now.

That alone shows the numbers you seek I think, most mp3 is what, < 400kbps?
I could be wrong on this one, just trying to give you your numbers in an easy way. There are websites with PAGES of information on FLAC vs MP3 vs WMA vs ...

At Pedro's or ANY TRACKER, it's important to upload your own stuff and be nice and MAKE FRIENDS. I don't think you understand that begging for invites will get you no where nor will being rude help you either.

You will not get into Pedro's like this, unless you want to donate to them. Even that, I believe you will struggle there, and judging from you comments, it seems you don't care about sharing either.
