Money to a certain extent is no object.

I have been asked to build a 'Super PC@ for a friend of mine. He says money is no object.

What do you guys recommend?

PC.
I was thinking:
Intel P4 3.0GHz, with Hyper-threading
Abit IC7-G
1GB crucial ram
MSI nVidia 5900 Ultra 256MB
2 * 120GB SATA Hard drives
DVD-RW
CD-RW
Floppy drive

Look for the latest Soyo Dragon motherboard : http://www.soyousa.com/products/select.php...Intel_Pentium_4 (http://www.soyousa.com/products/select.php?proc=Proc_Intel_Pentium_4) for P4. They got all the latest specs.

oh yea and for graphics:
Nvidia for better picture
Radeon for better speed

- ABIT NF7-S v2.0 Serial ATA150 Nforce 2 Motherboard
- 1024Mb Corsair XMS3500 CAS-2.0 memory (Dual DDR Mode) (2 x 512Mb)
- 120GB Maxtor 8mb cache SATA 150 Hard Drive
- Hercules Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb AGP 8x Graphics card
- Pioneer DVD-120 DVD Slot loading drive

That sounds about right, unless he isnt a really big gaming fan, then go for a dual opteron of xeon system,

Im all for Pentium buying if money isnt a factor, meh.

But serious, milk this guy if he says money isnt an option.........

ur friend's gona pay major 4 a comp like that. at least $2000. ha ha. i would ask him if he's gona pay that much 1st. of course, if ur dealing with a guy in a maison, or some gang dude. but if it's some college student or high school student, $2k might b 2 much. but, that's my opinion. :) ;)
