I am looking for a seedbox for a month term only. I am in the states, with paypal, really should be windows based with at least 80gb drive. Is that realistic? Been searching for a while and can't find anything.

I looked at them but they have setup fees that are pretty high for me since only need it for a month....doh I was looking at dedicated servers. They seem to have a 3 month contract.

Take a look at: http://torrentfluxhosting.com/torrentflux/sign-up/ for low prices and check out the useful links at http://seedboxinfo.com/wiki/doku.php

One month is a very short time so there won't be any discounts available.

http://torrentfluxhosting.com/torrentflux/sign-up/ has nice prices, but the last update was on 2007. Is it still works?

Just remember that prices are listed in Euro's so after the conversion to USD the price will be higher. I believe the conversion rate atm is 1.5932.

Price is 29,99 so actually more like $47

Oh I see you were referring to the lowest class of the Express series, my bad. So the OP knows, that server is not windows-based it runs with CentOS, Debian or FreeBSD.

Yup, I've seen that. I had Leaseweb in the past and paid about $75 US. I was hoping to get something a little cheaper from some quick seeds for a month. I just don't have enough confidence in my non-windows os skills. I need to practice building a setup at home and follow the guides to connect to it to manage.

i have had seedlayer for 3 days and already got 314gb transfer maybe look into them, i am only paying $10 month(8gb only but works fine) and there are larger plans.

Too bad Seedlayer is beginning to oversell because people keep recommending them...

Edit: Just noticed you pay $10 a month, that means we have different plans and yet we are located on the same server since I see your name.

The problem I would have with seedlayer is I want to leech/seed several movies and programs that are over 20gb each and a few more over 50gb. The jacks the cost up quite a bit.

Yeah starting yesterday the server is not working well at all but thats probably explained by the 18 users on the server and the Server Load: 32.77

What about http://seedhost.eu/seedbox as they have 4 shared plans with 60 to 120gb space and no bandwidth limit?

There are four shared options at the bottom and thy have a low active torrent and user limit which should mean decent speeds. I have not used their shared server, only for my full box, so I cant comment on the actual speeds you will get from it.

so, you have used their 1 person server. Can you comment on it a little bit. What kind of speed and their service?

Yes, lol, I wrote a review.

Speed great, service great. Best bit is that it is pre-setup and ready to go.
