How do I record a movie(onto my computer) while Im watching it on my DVD player(computers dvd player)

You would be better off ripping it to your hard drive first.It doesnt take long.Then watch the original wherever you want to. :)

Use a program called DVD Decrypter (nicer interface) or SmartRipper. They both have great options such as to disable macrovision, but beware you will need several GigaBytes of HDD space.
