I'm looking for the program called Bitrate Viewer. It's a tool used to view bitrates and other info about a movie file. There is a free download (there's a link on dvdrhelp.com to the Bitrate Viewer site), but for some reason that installer won't work for me. If anyone has it, I'd appreciate if you let me know how I can get it.

Thanks

why not just use "g spot", the program included with the k-lite codec pack?

it shows codec info and bitrate info and is very easy to use

for 2 reasons:
1. I had the k-lite codec pack and didn't know what g spot was.
2. The file is a MPEG, and when opened in G Spot, unfortunately it does not display the bitrate and most of the other info I need. Instead it says "n.a." (not available). For future reference though, I'll remember G Spot.

Thanks for telling me about G Spot
(I still need Bitrate Viewer)

If the format of the media is MP3/WAVE the bitrate is incorporated within the ID3 tags and therefore are normally shown on the toolbar in Windows Explorer or by viewing a folder as "Tiles".
