Congratulations on your recent win at the CGS.

The Birmingham Salvo beat the San Francisco OPTX quite handily.

I thought he was talking about soccer or something, that's why I didn't get it either. If you didn't understand it, then I guess not. :idunno:

Just Googled "Birmingham Salvo". Get this.... it's a video game team.

Apparently they beat the San Francisco OPTX.

CGS stands for "Championship Gaming Series".

Not yet, Mr. Al Borland.

I'm gettin' married in the islands (or Mehico) and it's a summbitch to plan.

Anyway, I never thought a vidjogame competition would be so entertaining....that and there's shit else on TV.

Well, keep us apprised, then.

As to being so intent on watching TV (over any other activity) you'll settle for video games, once removed?

Astounding.

One would have thought you might rather go shopping. :dabs:

I still try to live like a king on beer money but although island weddings tend to be less expensive, it's still a hefty expense.

As far as TV, that's what Tivo is for. One doesn't have to be intent on watching TV. If something like the CGS seems interesting, hit record, and it'll be there when you feel like getting to it.

You really must get with the times, mang.

Oh, I'm there, but it seems the only screens I look at are attached to friggin' PCs.

Even the news is just sound, anymore.
