I am firmly of the opinion that if another band's song is covered, something new and a bit different should be brought to it. With that in mind, here are my Top 5 Fave Cover Tunes du jour....

1. Tenacious D - Keep On Lovin' You
2. Foo Fighters - Have A Cigar
3. Veruca Salt - My Sharona
4. Tori Amos - Smells Like Teen Spirit
5. Cake - I Will Survive

I just love covers, probly cos i had so many mates in cover bands.


I just downloaded four versions of Whiskey in the Jar. Metallica wins that one.

I'll have to think hard now .... I'll be back ....

She brings an amazing quality to it. She told me in an interview (not wanting to drop names but bugger it&#33;) that Kurt used to listen to it while he made spaghetti. Go figure.

All songs covered by Stratovarius were pretty good. :) Except for the Rainbow song I Surrender. That one wasent that good.
