You can still use OVH without any problaimes. They'll give you hell only if someone reports to them you're using torrents. As long as you don't cause ruckus, you should be OK (from what I've heard - and I've had friendly axx to a Kimsufi recently without any real trouble).

Does 512mb of ram really cut it? or is it worth paying the extra $15 with OVH for the solution with 1gig of ram?
