When INSTALLING/UNINSTALLING any program, you reach the last step which requires you to hit "OK", "REBOOT", or whatever, for the necessary change to take place. BUT, if you take a look at the hard drive indicator on your PC, it's blinking. That indicates that some activity is still working!!! And if you look at the Windows Task Manager, the installing/uninstalling files are still working!!!

This is occuring in just about every software that require you to reboot first. I've also noticed that if you're INSTALLING, in some programs, that if I were to click "REBOOT NOW", this program won't work properly after Windows load again.

ANY CLUES? IDEAS?

Of course it's still working. What program do you think asked if you wanted to reboot?
