what's the best best download manager/accelerator?

i tried DownThemAll for firefox, but the app got 100% CPU..

please suggest a good download manager/accelerator

I tried a few and I have been using IDM for the past 3 months or so. It works just right and I think I get the fastest speeds with it.

ppl like you will make google famous:D. IDM is Best from my 5 yrs of exp. I used almost all like Flashjet, Getright, DAP, MassDownloader but nothin beats IDM:P

I combine Flashget + Firefox + flashgot , it's really handy when you use sites like rapidshare.......

I like IDM the best because I have tried Flashget, DAP, Getright and like 3 others. IDM gives me the best speeds. It has all the features I need as well.

IDM is the best,gigaget second, flashget can download both direct and torrent but really slow,

I also highly recomnend IDM. I've tried a bunch of downloaders, then stumbled upon IDM and never looked back since.

Demonoid usually always has the latest versions.
