Is Wmp7 Better Than Wmp9?

IS WMP7 better than WMP9? 7 still drains my cpu but it responds faster i guess... so is it better?

wmp7 has one great big security hole in it that lets you run code of a malicious nature.

apart from that i think they are pretty similar.

I just installed win2k server again and stayed with 6.2 I think it is. The sound is a lot fuller and it is faster.
I think I remember hearing a lot of bad things about 7 though and I do remember it always had registry bugs and error popups. WMP 8 I didn't mind too much and the first wmp 9 beta was good. the subsequent betas all sucked though.

wmp 6.4 has always been my fav so i still use it now.

I use Windows Media Player 9 and I like it a lot! ;)

WMP 9 is the worst out of all the WMP, I use 8 my fav...

Just get WM9 It's the newest and I haven't had any problems with it.
