Was transfering yesterday 65 gigs from my external hdd to my computer and it took only 9 mins @ ~100MBps :P
Flawless victory !!!

Discuss if you ever had the same experience with hdd's :P

i have an Sata HDD 500 gb w 32MB cahe. its very fast. transfers data very fast.

eSATA external drives are definitely my preferred type.
What size/type of files were you shifting?

my 750 GB external has esata port along with my Mobo... opff to hardware shop for cable as of tomorrow thanks for the heads up!
