How to take full program of Hard drive and put it on flash stick

I have a program installed on my hard disk and need to get a hard copy of it (either on flash drive or CD) to give to someone else. Can you tell me the steps to do this.

Most of the time you cant do this since when the program
is installed it installs files elsewhere besides the install directory
like reg entries, you dont know what it actually needs, some programs
are self contained just depends on the program really.

easiest way would be to download it for him

Try "Thinstall"

VMWARE Thininstall usually requires that it watch the install for best results. It will make the app "portable" allowing you to use it on a usb drive.
