in 1989 i didn't think to much of the punisher and then 2004 came. that one at the time did even less than the 1989 version. now, it's WAR ZONE! i mean, c'mon. i want a good version of this transition sumtime in my lifetime... seriously. hopefully, 3rd time's a charm?

The 2004 punisher was "watchable" - this new one looks pretty crap indeed :(

No the new one war zone is absolutely awesome, you must see the restricted trailer, its pure ownage!

The studio fired the director because he used to much blood and violence and they want to make the movie a PG13 >.> because they are surprised by the success of The Dark Knight and DK was PG13 [We all know why DK succeeded, only because of The Joker]

so, punisher war zone wasn't horrible and i did like the violence. fast flashes of gore with blood splattering all over the place. it does have all the pretty colors like batman 3-5 or how ever many there were, but does a better job of it. the acting was horrid, but sumhow entertaining. good soundtrack. 6.5/10
