Hi everyone

You heard me. What is the best tracker if you're looking for non-mainstream hiphop. That would mean artists like Sage Francis, Atmosphere and Brother Ali rather than 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Lupe Fiasco.

Public/private doesn't matter. What do you think?

There is #it (indietorrents) if you want to be totally elitist and cool!

. . . Or waffles.fm or what.cd?; both of those have both types of hip-hop for your gang-banging, pot-smoking, rollin'-40s, thug-life needs.

I think that a very good site with a big staff of hip-hop is the waffles. It has both the mainstream and the underground scene...almost 12.000 hip-hop torrents.

ps:It has many torrents of the artists that you mention above too.

Are you stalking me? ;)

I already have it and to be honest it isn't that good for finding my kind of music.

Sounds like waffles would be the place for me... Too bad it's invite only.

Thanks everyone for the input! More tips welcome!

It isn't a track, but try Soulseek. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. :)
