look like you have a crap box and trying to record...
look task manager before utorrent crash, cpu is driving crazy right?
i guess when you limit your download speed it will be fine and so you can got more buffer ;) and be kind for your box:P

Lots of people get random crashes with uTorrent.According to their forum the most likely causes are malware or insufficient system resources.
Reinstalling uTorrent will get it working again(albeit temporarily).

You could try tweaking the disk cache

I would also seriously consider downgrading to version 1.7.7 while you are at it.

idol is right ...
look your utorrent and are you seeing anything about disk overload ?
and if you ask me when you jump a torrent first limit download speed like 1 MB/s after every 5 s increase it like 1-2-3-4-5-6 and dont jump after 6 ;) and dont forget to pause all files when you wanna have big buffer you will see what i wanna say ;)
