I thought it was a funny comment, but then I have the context of having seen that deliberate video asking for floods in Denver (which I also thought was funny.)

It may have been a non-event, but it still caused the evacuation of 2 million people.

They may have to evacuate it like this once every couple of years. It beggars belief why anyone would choose to live there now.

I did hear that there were only an estimated 10K left in NO when the Gustav made landfall. Seems that folks are finally learning.

Well, conventional wisdom in NO has it that the Republicans are only good at starting hurricanes, not stopping them.

The next hurricane that threatens under a Dem president will be Katrina redux, probably.
