I like it... You have to remember this is the first beta release. And it's open source so the possibilities are endless :)
I was lost for a little while till I watched the 8 or so videos they have here. http://www.google.com/chrome/intl/en/features.html

It loads pages really fast... And is NOT a resource hog. As far as I can tell so far
Give it time and it'll be the best browser... but I'm still keeping firefox installed. Too many extensions that I love... I'm sure though the same dev's that have helped better the firefox code and extensions will adopt Chrome aswell... but for now I'll use both :)

i just can't find my bookmarks anywhere...

The bookmark toolbar can be shown or hidden by holding Ctrl and pressing B

After you've started browsing and would like to go to one of your bookmarked sites, all you have to do is click on the blue plus icon that's right next to the X that you would click to close your current tab; It opens a new tab and defaults your homepage where you can select a recently visited site, or go to a bookmarked site.

I preffer IE over firefox. I only use Firefox for the megatoolbar that I use for Megaupload. IE7 is just fine. I really don't see what's the big deal with Firefox. It's just a lighter browser. Most sites seem to preffer IE anyways. You will see optimized for IE, not for Netscape, or Firefox or other browsers.

When people have issues with browsers, it is usually because they got malware on their systems. Since IE is most popular, malware attacks mostly IE.

In Firefox if u press F11 then It became like Google's Chrome. HOwever I liked the kind of development taking place @ google for a browser :).

Till Beta stage out, I will stick to FF.:D

well that may be true to some extent but I read in their official news site that they were seriously thinking on the web browser to go out of their beta phase. Dunno how far they are serious but one thing is TRUE that after their release they were Hitting WELL to FF:happy:.

The way FF kicked netscape Google's Chrome has too that much potential. Only time can tell who will kick.

Chrome has security issues from what i've read.
It also uses more ram per tab than forefox, runs more processes and the plugin system is bad to put it mildly.

If your willing to try out Goolge Chrome, you may also want to try out Opera Browser.
Some reasons i myself use only Opera.
Free Opera Link synchronize bookmarks, Speed Dial, notes across every opera install you have. I have opera on many machines, some virtual machines. It very fast for me to go from on to another and anything i do at that machine like take notes, bookmark a site, etc show up at all my other machines.

When we compare all these browsers, each having its own advantages..

i See peopel saying abt firefox,Opera etc.. in case of display or with CSS Opera rulz just check the Acid test.

In case of chrome as per the new memory mangement it will not crash the entire browser, and stops lots of memory hogging.Since each tab is a process in case of chrome.Still we have to wait for some more time to do a real comparisson, so far so good.

* i liked the url search ;)

What's opera getting in it these days?

It's awesome. It loads instantly and it's so uncluttered. The homepage is even cooler, too. I just click the sites that I go to the most rather than type them in. Plus having my address bar search google is the best! No longer do I have to go to google.com or install the search bar to search for stuff. I really love it a lot. If this is just beta, imagine how the full release will be.

I use it on my eee. It's pretty sweet.

Well fast.

My one issue with it thus far is having to do the flash workaround. Wasn't hard or owt, but I reckon it's pretty silly that google didn't even have a finished plugin for that. Especially since they own youtube.

I've also had it go buggy a couple of times, in conjunction with activeX stuff, but other than that it's great.

I do like it and I use it a lot, however there are a lot of features that I use in firefox that do not exist in chrome. For now I just use both browsers, but hopefully in a few months time I will be able to make the complete switch to chrome. :)

If anyone could get the nana10.co.il videos to work I'd appreciate a guide of some sort.

Right-click and download (http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/xpi/current/flashplayer-win.xpi), change extension to zip, extract flashplayer.xpt and mpswf2.dll, stick those into chrome's plugin folder.

Probably works. Not gonna watch that.

I like the speed of this browser, the functionality and design however it currently lacks the ability for advanced layout customization. I use it about 50% of the time but when the full version is available I may switch completely over.

well, it's a LOT better at rendering images and flash content. I have firefox on my laptop, and when I load a page with a lot of images or flash vidos the page "lags". Chrome on the other hans always responds quickly. No scroll lag or changing tab lag.
