New Addon - Kazchart

Update on 03/09/03 - OK, while the forums been down ive had the time to completely re-work KazChart.
For new vistors this is just a simple application to help downloading chart music.

Designed to assist the user in downloading chart music. KazChart updates itself from the BBCi web site to retrieve the top 40 singles chart information. It then extracts the important data and shows it in a table. All the user does is click on a song of interest and the search begins in Kazaalite.

This is the final fully-working version that im doing. Now comes with a installer, much beter appearence, and a new logo :D

I'm still working on an American addon. KazChart now has an update notification so it will popup a message box for you when you use when this is avaliable.

A big thanks to Frosty who helped test KazChart, couldnt have done it without him!.

when i dl this file and installed it i went to run it and it said there was a file missing i went to your site and re-downloaded but the same thing came up whats going on i really want this program

Maybe you could make it so that the music charts you get the info from are in seperate files. This way people download the main prog, and then can download the charts seperately as they come out.

the program is great except for 1 thing, THE F***IN SPYWARE.

MUSE i have solver your problem....

make sure ur web page is set to the defult one > C:\Program Files\Kazaa Lite K++\web\start.htm

i think (if you are good with making web pages) u could change the bottom 1/2 of the page as long as u leave the address / search bar at the top, some how it uses that to search.

Sorry about the delay in responce, ive not really been chckingthis post more so the other on in developers. Ive improved KazChart quite a bit since the last update included a menu bar, and a status bar, theres now error handling on corrupt data from charts, and number recovery whilst charts are incomplete. The USA version is a lil tough due to the design of the page im getting the details from (www.top40-charts.com)

If anyone else has any other sites to get USA charts from please please let me know as it will help speed-up the launch of the next USA compatable version of KazChart.

Im haveing the same problem. And im running win2k. Ive tried download some update for the file from microsux and that didnt work either.
Hope Someone can help us.

KazChart has just recently had its 50,000th run&#33;&#33;&#33;

I cant belive that a lil piece of software I wrote has been so sucessfull. thanks to all who have used and continue to use it and all those who contributed to its development in terms of testing and debugging.
