Actually, the community at what is great, just not the same

Waffles forum is dominated by a pack of regulars (the "troll brigade" i like to call it :shifty: ), their chat section receives tremendous amounts of activity, all the users know each other quite well. What forums receive less activity (but still more than most private trackers) but topics generally stay on topic, the atmosphere is more mature and it's easier for new people to get involved

What.CD IRC is more active though(or so i've heard anyway, i don't frequent it)

Disclaimer: Out of the sites you're interested in, I only have account on what.

I think you'll be pleased if you get one or two of what.cd and waffles. I just got into what.cd and to be honest... my expectations were high. But what.cd is better than that. :)

I've read somewhere what.cd is easer to seed than waffles but I wouldn't know.

And by the way, isn't there loads of threads about this already if you search a bit?

What.cd has 20,000 more users than Waffles and this makes quite a difference in activity of their torrents. Waffles community is maybe more tight, but I prefer the larger size of what.

First of all..Pedro`s and Music-Vid are 2 different trackers..and Music-Vid is NOT a music tracker, it`s a tracker with music videos, like it`s name says.

I would say Waffles but for whatever reason, I found my account was deactivated a month ago or so. I'm guessing it's because I've been working overseas and my PC back home died preventing me from continuing to keep the account alive by seeding. By the time I remembered to log into my account, I found I could not get in. No email warning, nothing and this is from someone who donated at the very beginning to help finance the purchase of their first beefy server to do the job after Oink got shutdown.

Yeah, I'm feeling a little bitter about it. :)

Yeah, I could find many songs that I couldn't find at other torrent sites. I mean Italio Disco music back in the 80's.
Artists like CC Catch, Eddie Huntington, Patty Ryan, Sandra, Ken Laszlo, David Lyme, Gina T., New Baccara, Joy, Bad Boys Blue, etc.

Weird thing, whenever I'm on Windows I browse with Google Chrome. And when I go to Yoump3 in Chrome, the browser says the site has malware. But when I'm on Linux I browse with FF or Opera. And when I go to the site in those browsers I don't get the malware.

Wondering if it's safe to download from there.

What.cd is really good. I like STmusic though. They have a good ratio system. But what.cd has so many albums in so many different formats (V0, V2, FLAC etc.). I haven't tried Waffles yet. to lazy to ask for an invite at sct. How is their ratio system. Do they have seeding bonus crap? (ex.: I download a 80MB album, I seed it for 6 days but I dont upload. But I get lets say, 20MB per day as a bonus upload. something in that genre.)
