Hi guys

well i wanted something cheap. I get the logins to the vps
connected through rdp to the windows 2003now the funny thing is that even seeing the server in remote desktop is bad it so slow! and thats now like this for 8 hours!!
i choose 100 mbit, hahahaha even to see my server i cant see. its really slow so i cant even move the mouse!big lol!

Now the second i downloaded utorrent, now the program disappears after 3 sec it open the shutdown.hahahha . i cant believe i bought this server@

This is a nightmare not a server!

in the other side i am connected to a dedicated server from ovh and everything is perfect!

I pmed one the staff in hosting-ie but not a response.

I am just waiting to cancel this! this is unbelievable.

even watching your server normally its impossible, its better killing this damn vps

I hope no1 buys this vps and suffer again like me. Dont do the mistake :)

What do you think ?

Its windows on a VPS. A vps is not a server its just a part of a server.
If you are going to use vps and dedicated servers for seeding torrents allways go for linux.

Windows is very bad if you dont have a relly fast server.

i just downloaded a file in 130 kb, heheh why home pc is better!!
i didnt know a vps is that terrible. even not to be able to move the mouse to interact with the server!! oh my god!
yes i bought it because of the price. but i didnt know it will be worse them my 2 mb home connection :(
if i had a choice to choose linux when buying a vps from hosting-ie i would do it, i didnt get to choose.+ i wouldnt think it would help in this case

Ask them for Os reinstall. They make it for free on all vps.
And they offer linux to all of there servers.

Debian sarge works great on vps. I use rtorrent and limit my download speed to about 4MB/s and i do get great upload speed.

soo you think 256mb ram is good to run windows on ?

They split a dedicated server into many vps servers. Thats wy it runns pretty slow if the dedicated server dont have enough power.

256mb ram rtorrent is the best way to go. maby utorrent with wine also

many times the bottleneck is harddisk access. there is no way a normal harddisk can take so many random accesses from multiple VPSes.

i have to say that hosting-ie got great support. I talked to them and they will change me the pack. Nothing was there fault i think. they are nice company.
