Where can I get free iPhone apps?

I already know about the App Store, Cydia, and Installer, but I'm looking to get some of the apps on those sources which would normally cost money, but get them for free.

Are there any sites, trackers, etc....?

Well, syncthebits was a real disappointment. The few apps that were offered are free anyhow.

Does anyone know how to install said apps? My phone is jailbroken and I know how to tunnel into my phone and amend various files, but I'm not sure how to do manual application installations.

Any help there?
