 do i need to have a seedbox to understand that uploader's speed of The X-Files - Seasons 6-9 - NTSC Slim DVD
is very, very slow?
i thought that for such experienced user that i thought you were, it's obvious that during the initial seeding download speed cannot exceed original uploader's speed limit. as for greatness, everyone has it's one criteria of judjement, for x.264 SD encodes - maybe it's good, but for uncompressed dvd sources SDBits are far behind atm from torrents.ru & bt.dvdquorum.es

And the fact that the site contains non-scene stuff makes it shit, right?
nope, it just means that there no automatically provided gbit seedbox for all of the releases :)
more of that, personally, i dislike very much scene approach to quickly feed shit to masses and if there's better quality availible than their crappy v2 mp3's and recompressed dvdr's, or 4.3GB hd rips, i prefer to use other sources, whatever speed may be.
..didn't i mentioned torrents.ru & dvdquorum? ;)

I always quadruple my layers or cardboard for my box, it helps keep in the heat.. works pretty well. Try it out.

Another option would be to use duct tape. I once made a complete rowboat out of duct tape and cardboard boxes, including oars, which a friend and I then sailed to victory. True story.
