ARTIST UNVEILS KATE MOSS CANDLE HOLDER
ARTIST Marc Quinn last night unveiled his latest work – a life-size Kate Moss candle holder made of solid gold.
The £1.5 million sculpture depicts the supermodel balancing on her buttocks with both feet wrapped behind her ears and is designed to be the perfect centrepiece for any dinner party.
Quinn said: "When Kate first posed for me she said 'Marc, why don't you do me reading a book, or maybe sitting on a horse, side saddle'.
"I said they were both really great ideas but could she first take of all her clothes and put both her feet behind her head so I could see right into her snatch.
"This piece is really about whether we make images or they make us. It's about immortality, it's about the future, it's about staring directly into Kate Moss's fanny."
He added: "This is the prototype. We're going to mass produce them in China using gold plate. It can also be used as an umbrella stand, or somewhere to leave your pipe."
Quinn said he is now planning a range of domestic items using celebrity private areas, including coat hooks based on the penises of Take That and a bottle opener shaped like Richard Madeley on all fours with a surprised look on his face.
