i never even heard of this. saw vinnie jones was in it so i checked it out and WoW! sum weird, wild stuff i must say. after the completion of the film i realized it's based on a short story from clive barker! :) good stuff.

basically, vinnie jones plays a butcher that murders ppl on a subway train. pretty gory too. not crazy gory and the gore is limited to only the first 30 mins or so of the film then it dies down. of course there's a weird twist @ the end. not the best, but enjoyed it. wished there would had been a little more to this. not much dialog either. not that that's a bad thing. 7/10

The end killed it for me. Especially his last look back. There is no way the main character with a baby face could give a vinnie jones killer look. (maybe add some blackcontact lenses to his blue eyes)
Seeing his girlfriend die is not enough justification into why he would convert and become the new butcher to hold the balance. It needed something more as to why he would convert, or go insane so as to start killing.
I get the whole - "keep the balance" or else the animals will go amok, so of underworld theory, but they could easily have elaborated on it, instead of hinting it.

true story. ending was blah, but as a film i liked it. homeboy could not top VJ.
