My choice for funniest (currently airing) TV show would have to be Modern Family. Of all time funniest, I would have to say Married With Children. What can I say, you have to respect a guy that scores 4 touchdowns in a single game :D

Gee, there have been so many over the years, and I can't pick just one. But the current ones that actually make me laugh out loud in every episode are "The Big Bang Theory" and "Mom." Other good ones (for me) are "Hot in Cleveland," "The Middle" and the perennial "I Love Lucy." That show is still hilarious after 60 years! "All in the Family" is a good one, too. And does anybody remember "Cybill"?

Californication!!"Californication" is an analogous series in an age of digital "junk". And David Duchovny seems to be made to accurately miemen this analog protagonist, which is necessary for the success of the series. My appreciation for this actor has risen exorbitantly through this series.

I like the obvious ones like South park too but for a more (loosely speaking) grown-up show I`ll go with Psych.

But classic sitcom wise I`ll still stick with Red Dwarf being a watcher since it first got launched on BBC2 (I still have a VHS collection).... seen the American pilot on youtube but don`t be put off if you`ve not tried the real thing :)

Colbert, Ferguson (I said "idiots" a lot during this show), Simpsons, BBT, Psych. Seinfeld is too old to remember but I still want to quote CYE a lot especially when something is "pretty pretty good" or I'm doing a "Larry David" for some reason which usually involves doing the right thing incorrectly. If you have seen it you'd know what I mean. No one ever gets his eyeball gag when he tries to detect lies unless they have seen it but most people are not cool enough to have seen it. I mean how does one describe "Better Call Saul" to the clueless. It's pretty hard to explain how it is both humorous and tragic in the exact same moment.

I mean how does one describe "Better Call Saul" to the clueless. The word "glacial" comes to mind.
I understand that it's a "thing" for the show to let scenes run on ad nauseum but I also understand why no one else is inclined to do it.

It's pretty hard to explain how it is both humorous and tragic in the exact same moment. Pain is the basic foundation stone of humour and I'm pretty sure that type of character was old even before Charlie Chaplin brought The Little Tramp to life.

Don't get me wrong I like the show but I'm of the opinion that it's not of yet the great thing most people seem to think it is.
That and as been stated elsewhere, unlike Breaking Bad,Better Call Saul is saddled with a certain predictability.

Better Call Saul is saddled with a certain predictability.

Maybe, or maybe we are watching the story of how his twin developed a law practice, then handed it over to him. Totally unpredictable if they did that.

Looks like we are getting a bunch more Rick and Morty episodes. Who knows when they will actually air though.

Modern Family was funny until the kids got older. Season 5 is where I lost interest.

NewsRadio was funny until the tragic and untimely departure of Phil Hartman. Jon Lovitz is funny, but the show wasn't the same.

The one I can watch over and over again is only fools and horses, even when I know what’s happening I still find it funny.

Breaking Bad

Yeah, the episode where they chop that corpse into pieces and dissolve it in a bathtub was pure comedy! :w00t:
