I use ZA pro 4, and I am very happy with it. Never used sygate though, so I can't compare

i use npf but if i had to choose between zonealarm or sygate, i would go with zonealarm.

Does sygate have a adblocker built into it like zonealarm does?

sygate pro is good but i installed zone alarm pro with web filtering this morning and so far i am pritty pleased with it, but as of yet i havent fiddled around with the settings much so i dont really know what it is capable of, and no sygate doesnt have a adblocker built into it....... ;) ;)

Actually, It does to some degree. There is a warning that some pages may not display correctly at max security and Msn's formatting get's messed due to ad removal. It also has .dll verification which most don't.

I have heard good things about kerio/tiny but, like sygate, you have to pay for the best version the free version is lacking too much. I have sygate pro 5.1. As far as ad blocking and such, a combination of a "good" hosts file and norton system works 2003 and norton av 2004 should(i only have nortonsytemworks2003 at the moment) keep the ad spam stuff at bay. Also good browser settings obviously. I love the sygate gui, the backtrace feature is great, but the most recent versions seem more and more unstable. Has anyone else noticed this?

I've used both Zone Alarm and Sygate. I like Sygate much better, small, free, easy, and uses less CPU.

I've been using ZoneAlarm for a while, but the free version. I'm guessing that it's enough for an occasional user like myself.

If i were to upgrade to the Pro. version, would downloading a keygen enable me to download the latest updates from ZoneLabs, or would i need to keep acquiring the updated versions with Kazaa?
