One year ago the bittorrent tracker Oink was shut down by authorities on behalf of the industrial complex called the recording industry.

RIP Oink, what a great site, and my first back in 2004. Luckily Waffles and What have filled the void for me pretty well, but Oink is still missed.

i tried searching for just a genre in What the other day, it was really broken, the worst ive seen a tracker search ever. waffles hasn't got a fraction of the music oink had, and what has the music in there somewhere i just cant see any of it. i miss oink.:emo:

hope they rot in jail, with all the money they took from the members, as teh biggest P2L site that ever existed. so much for the sharing and a big no-no to all those who defend this was "the best site eva"... :ermm:
