I was wondering if we could start a thread to list sites which currently provide video (ie.: movies, videos, etc.) for the iPod / iPhone.

Places such as:
VortexNetwork, BS, podtropolis, iPodTVnova etc.

I have been waiting for iPodTVnova to open sign-ups again but the wait continues.

If you could list some of you sites / favorites, it would be greatly appreciated.

BitMeTV has a decent amount of .mp4 stuff. But in my opinion, if you want iPod videos that desperately, convert them yourself. If you're patient enough to download the videos, you should be patient enough to convert them. :)

I try to convert a lot of stuff for BMTV. Get the ratio a little higher and help out some guys who's rather not download as big of a file and don't want to have to spend the time to convert it.

What are some of your favorite programs to convert to .mp4?

Do they convert all types of files, .avi, .vob, etc?

I have been using a free one by videora ipod touch & iphone converter but the program maxes out my cpu. Looking for a better program.

I used Apex Video Converter Super to convert video files. There are better one's out there, but I used it because it;s easy. You can also try PimYourMobile http://torrent.pimpyourmobile.info/index.php, it has Iphone and some ipod torrents stuff.

FInd someone with a mac and use visualHub..srsly it's quicker and better than the windows solutions I've seen/used probably cuz it's Apple's format (?!)
