Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any other sites which have high % of UK users, because there dont seem to be that many.

I know of DidiDave, TM-Torque, and BitNation seem to have a large UK community, but surely there are more UK based sites?

Random question I know, but I was curious!

Thanks! :fst:

Oooh, thanks for UK Nova, I knew of this site but last time I checked registrations were closed.

I'm sure it's a bit harder to get into Uk-T than that, lolier, it's a level 10 site!

Ahaha, nice, might have to use that one sometime :P
TheBox is a site with a lot of UK content i believe, so i can only assume most of their users are from the UK. They have open signups a lot so it should be fairly easy to get in there i think

O.k, well FTWR is on par with UK-* on difficulty level to get into...

But Revolt? Not heard of that one, do you have a link? :) Does it require an invite?

You dont mean RevTT do you?

Ahh sorry ovisan I overlooked that, yup looks like an invite is required there. Loving their logon screen though!

"This is a dildo shop, for dildo people."

"You need 2 x AA batteries to login. " :D

Okay I ve found this googleing:
"revolt is a forum and if you contribute to that forum with intelligent posts you get access to the hidden tracker . the tracker is just a bonus( its not a good one) the forum is what people like more. so if you arent into forums dont bother."

"revolt is forum with a very small number of torrents, you get access to it only when you make quality posts in the forum,it is very rare and staff (http://www.zintext.com/keyClick.php?keywords=staff&campid=5335809099&SID=archive) of some high level trackers hang out there...."

Sounds nice... At least a level 8 tracker

revolt is the first thing that comes to mind.

many of the higher up sites have more europeans than americans (i think).

ScT has got close to 2,000 UK members, with 1 Sysop and 2 Admins from UK aswell.

Any TV program from the UK will be on there, with discussions about them popping up often. Premier League fantasy football too, and most events are timed to GMT.

Unless a tracker screens outsiders using IP filtering, then I would say that any UK based communities are really global communities instead, concentrating on the English language as their medium for communication (just like FST).

For UK TV you really can't beat http://thebox.bz/ and http://www.uknova.com/

What sort of UK content are you after? Most UK bands can be found with a bit of searching on the big sites. Some UK specific software can be a bit difficult to find though. Getting a current version of Sage Line 50 to test setting up on my practice server for instance was pretty tough.
