Finally Got Dsl

Damn dsl awsome, i was skeptical about the speeds from my local provider since it was well cheap ( 35$ + msn8 ) and dude im getting speeds as fast as 180kb/s ^_^ happiest downloader in the hole world hehe :lol:

well, i've only got until next wed to wait for my adsl.
the biggest thing i'm gonna appreciate is the ability to download an mp3 in less than 20 minutes and sub-100 pings in vc

i know how you feel, i started out with Cable, then i hadda get rid of it for ahile, and hadda use my 33.6k modem, and my stolen Cadvision Account, and i was going crazy, i just couldent take downloading at 3kbs, so i got cable again, and im happy with my 500kbs + downloads ahhh good ol' cable

When I got dsl I was just amazed, I could not believe it, now I take it for granted and see it as normal speed...

Good for you. I have had crappy cable for about 7 years now and still no improvment. The cable company said we would be able to get DSL in 6 months, the thing is that they said that about 2 years ago. We have still yet to see any improvment.

adsl here is about 140$ a month for 1.5mb/256kb. wich is about 140kb downloads =(.

im sitll on dialup, but i hope to get adsl soon.

i have had cable for about 3 years now ..... i could not imagine EVER going back to dial up ...... i pay $40 bucks a month i have tested my speed i got 1800 down and 288 up ... but it varys sometime thats jus the avg...... i have hit 280 downloading from kazaa but that speed doesnt last long, depends on sources though
