Not really mate. It was a bit bizarre to be honest as I was standing there with my car keys and my bank cards etc.

My brother got asked for ID in merkin land when he was buying cancer sticks.

Lots of places in the UK now don't sell alcohol to under 21s, which tends to put just about everyone into the ID category

She probably was Skweeks! Did you really want that cider for in the cooking?... I mean no one actually asked why you why you were ordering cider during the last few days of your pregnancy!

If I wanted cider for the drinking I wouldn't be buying the nasty stuff that comes in plastic bottles. I;d be buying some nice pear cider or something. Yum yum yum.
In fact, I might have one tonight.

Largs isn't most of the UK.
Oh, funny thing, a girl I work with (when I'm not on leave obviously) is from Largs, grew up there. Used to have a wee shop.

I don't actually know...
There's a few shops in Largs. Last time I was there my friend bought a pair of water proof trousers. They were priced at £15, so she handed the girl behind the till £20. The girl then gave her back £15. It's great to go down the coast where no one can count properly.
They must think you are some kind of wizard, you being an accountant and that :o
