Okay, I have tried numerous times to follow the guide posted here, but it does not work.

If anyone can get it done for me, I will let you use my seedbox for the month!

What I need.

uTorrent, Firefox, FTP & The Abilty to RAR.

i can help u in 3 hours time,no need for me to use ur box for a month tho.

Just reinstalled Ubuntu 8.04.

If you need a different one, please let me know, and Ill install it. No problems :D

Install ubuntu desktop its much easier.
Then u can run utorrent+wine.
Then connect to sftp way with filezilla.
Once uve installed ubuntu desktop open up putty/ssh and type
sudo apt-get install wine.
Once thats done login to ur box with nx client.
http://www.nomachine.com/download-client-windows.php
Make sure in the settings its set to unix/GNOME.
Then once ur in ur box open firefox up go to utorrent.com and down the utox.exe file to ur ubuntu desktop,then right click open with wine.
Thats ur utorrent up n running.

Wow a free offer to use a seedbox, I fought people will be jumping at the opportunity.

Install ubuntu desktop its much easier.
If you currently have Ubuntu Server, don't worry, you don't need to reinstall. You can just install the Desktop package.

Run this command:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

I think this guy had a hacked box or something, went down two days after I assisted setting it up.. waste of time. kareemamir is full of crap.
