Good movie addiction and I thought fairly well known but surprisingly I couldn't find it anywhere either.
I think your best bet might be to put in a request at somewhere like goem or KG.

If you're a member put a reward for it on cinemaggedon and you're pretty sure to get results.

Better movie is The Jericho Mile. Got that one benchez.
Better yet bundle it's with Prefontaine, Without Limits,Chariots of Fire,Running Brave and that movie with Bruce Dern that I can't remember the name of.

Thanks a lot for the hint, I didn't know The Jericho Mile. For your info, Running in the sun, Saint Ralph and Fire on the track are also good movies.

Not necessarily better but different.Lots of things on there that you won't find anywhere else.And quality stuff too.
Contrary to what most people think it's not just cheesy B-movies and gore flicks.

Funny I can't find it either , both private or public tracker . Shit now I want to watch it , canadien movie too eh . Guess you'll just have to d/l some old reruns of The Streets of San Francisco ? :D

Further comment on the movie.
As peatmoss said it's Canadian and vaguely creepy in the way that only movies made in Canada from that period can be.
Michael Douglas though alleged highly trained at the time runs like a girl.
The movie,from that I can remember of it, is more depressing than uplifting.

I'm willing to ante up a few bucks just to lay this puppy to rest.
It's up to someone else to do the legwork though.

one used one for 10 pounds on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Running-Michael-Douglas/dp/B000055YY1, its really cheap for something you desired that much, i dont see a problem why you didnt buy it already
