There was practically no hype, and the movie went unnoticed. And release dates are completely jumbled..

Yeah, it was the single biggest grossing film in one weekend ever in the UK.

Just think what would have happened if people actually knew about it.

November 14th. Haha, just read a bit on Craig's Bond vs. others: http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/filmblog/2008/nov/04/james-bond-daniel-craig-quantum-of-solace

He is more like a hitman than a spy, but anyways...It's still a good series. I thought the older movies played out more like a t.v. show.

I actually did start reading Fleming's Bond books awhile back and was pleasantly surprised that they were more realistic. I've read up to From Russia with Love and so far Moonraker is my favorite. Ian Fleming tops my favs.

You Limeys make good writers and what-not.

I've seen American TV, it's nothing like a Bond movie.

American and British TV are the staple shaytes of this day and age.

True storays.

In fact, both are quite acceptable. The British have their own select brand of humor, and the French their own special croissants

You didn't notice that they're both mindless.

Saw the movie.

Daniel Craig reaffirms that he was the right choice for the role.Judi Dench is great as always.
The rest of the movie however plays like warmed over Jason Bourne.

The producers need to take note of the Dark Knight series where they managed while "reinventing" to still adhere to the overall mythology.

I thought Daniel Craig was as wooden as hell in it.

Too much blurred action sequences, and not enough plot development. Also, they nicked too many scenarios out of old bond films, yawn.

Agree about everything but Craig.

Take for examplewhere he kills the assassin in the hotel room knife fight. His face speaks volumes without him saying a word.

Other than that I read that Hagis was under pressure to finish the script before the writer's strike and unfortunately it really shows.Nothing is fleshed out.
And the camera work is similar to the last Bourne which almost ruined that movie for me.

Plus main Bond girl Olga Kurylenko so devastating in Hitman is almost asexual here.

Dang, I was kind of counting on masturbating a few months' worth to dear Olga's sensual body and fa(e)ce(s).

One thing I can say already just from watching the trailer, and that is that the choice of a 19-year-old clown for one of the bond girls (Jemma Tarterton) was a crass mistake. She's about as convincing an actress as my pet-dog Horeb.

Are you still at that age where the physical aspect overpowers the acting ability itself? (I'm talking to Harriet, because of the illustration supplied above).

Oh and other than a possibly tender set of teats and legs, vulva, etc, I don't even consider this lass in the least bit pretty.

If this is a question, the answer is "Yes".
If it's a statement of fact, thanks for restating the obvious.
If it's just the result of a random neurological misfire, get a MRI soon.
