I havn't used it in a while, but it I could never download anything from there.

What type of files is it good for?

I don't think it used to be movies on there they could be now but when I tried it, it was mainly for songs. Try it and see or go to the homepage of it, can't get more simple than that.

At one point it was only music generally, although noe there is bit of everything such as movies which seems to cause unreal Q time. Resume is built in.

It probably is best for music now.

If they only had music, it may clean up the insane Q factor that makes it useless.
