Hi Guys

I use Ares and find it great.

Are there any other systems still being used ? eg Limewire ? Soulseek ?

WinMX has just got a new community patch, and is on the way back. Best P2P for chat as well as sharing.

Limewire/Frostwire is still rather popular.

Soulseek is the best I've found. Most active it seems.

Isn't Soulseek for electronic music?? Or do they have everything now?

Nah, Soulseek is pretty much everything. But I believe it's main focus is music(any type).

I've heard similar things about ARES , however i've never used it. Whats the point in DL'ing if its cripplingly slow ...

Is Bearshare still going ?

No, not really. It settled with the music industry for $30 million and gave them control.
