After looking around for a tiny bit, I'd like to say that it is/was a blog that posted indie/dance music. It was shut down due to funds or something, and then re-opened as a private blog. At least, that's what I gathered from what I looked at.


Looks like can only invite 100 readers to a private blog in blogger. Does anyone know any way around this or any alternatives?

Yes, you get things called "ScenePoints" for every album you post a link to. For every 200 SP you can buy one invite.

Also, there's only something around maybe 8000-9000 members. If I remember correctly.

No, the site allows any kind of music to be posted. Just the majority is Rock/Indie/Screamo/Metal. They don't care though what you post as long as it fits their requirements. (i.e. not on their banned list)

Most of their releases are in VBR format of some kind. Usually they'll get bigger, more anticipated releases before Waffles or What.

I know. But he really sounds like he wants to share them as much as he can. But I'm sure probably half of the people that have received an invite probably won't even use the site more than once or twice.

And magushun, I"m going to start uploading a bunch of jazz, funk, jazz-funk, smooth jazz, jazz-rock, blues, etc, tonight or tomorrow night. I'm in the middle of uploading some rock albums that are missing there right now, which is going to take me a few more hours. But once I'm done with those I'll start on my jazz and funk collection. So when you get invited there should be quite a few albums in those genre's. ;) I'll do a few each night.

Yeah, but what I'm seeing right now is just a bunch of scene music in the genre's ben mentioned. But you gotta keep in mind, it is stil a very new site. I am loving it so far. I love the layout and the search methods. So I'm hoping once it gets older and grows in members that this music forum is going to become huge.
