OK,my screen is crappy and it has brightness problems...you might say that it isnt too bright....

So when i play stuff like SOF 2 multiplayer,i crank the brightness up to the highest level and its still not bright enough and i get killed in the dark places cuz i cant see other players...
So can anyone tell me how to raise the brightness so the games would be brighter? (and dont tell me to do it manually on the screen, its already on the highest level)

Thanx B)

Increase your Gamma settings in-game, and alter your brightness settings for your Graphics-card if you haven't, in the control-panel.

If your monitor's setting is at its highest, and gamma at its highest - and you're still being killed because you cant see people, then you need a new monitor.

Then you're stuck with a bad monitor i'm afraid. Even though it's almost virtually impossible to fix it this way, you should download the latest drivers for your monitor at http://www.monitor-drivers.com/ To my knowledge (and google's - i just did a search), there are no programs available to increase gamma/brightness past their usual max value. Have you got contrast up as far as it'll go aswell?

Maybe Adobe's Gamma loader or 3D turbo (don't know where to get it though) could help some, although I wouldn't use them unnecessarily, as well as new driver for your graphics-card.

I'm almost positive adobe gamma doesn't push it any further than in-game options.
