Is there any? as in trouble finding the right drivers etc.

Pretty much I'm sitting here with a friends computer and Vista is giving him hell. DVD drive keeps getting "lost", trouble connecting/staying connected to the Internet amongst other things.

The PC is 7 months old, so it came with Vista preinstalled. It's a Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pa. 2510 if that helps any.

Any info or advice is welcome.

Sometimes you have trouble finding XP drivers for laptops .

Thanks. I better start checking what available then. Not so good if I screw up the PC more than it already is.

Have you tried a repair- or even a full reinstall- of Vista yet?

A full reformat and reinstall a few months ago. Problems are even worse now then they were back then. I could maybe understand if he used it a lot and tried out many programs on it, but he hardly uses it, apart from playing music/movies and going on the Internet.

A computer that needs a reinstall every few months, seriously needs a better operating system IMO.

I installed XP on my vista laptop. I found all the drivers I needed on http://driverpacks.net except for the modem drivers.
