Played it for the first time tonight. No limit Hold 'em

Actually quite fun, though I have to say the blinds went up rather quickly.

I can recommend the concept if you enjoy the pokers.

I used to play on PokerStars habitually. I had racked up almost a million dollars in fake monies over about a 6 month span. I was beginning to think that maybe I should start playing for real cash.... then it happened.

I lost almost all of it in one hand. I had kings over aces; the other fellow had aces over kings. It was awful... :cry:

I use Bodog. The poker is pretty solid, but I perfer it for the sportsbook more than anything.

I did it on a Celtic forum, they have a link to a poker thing. So it means you can have tournaments with groups of people you know from the forum.

It all appears to be run from this http://www.pokermavens.net/ but the prog itself runs from the forum.

No. It's a standalone app as opposed to a forum mod type thing. I don't see any advantage in having it forum based.

I don't think they let you set up private tourneys without real money involved.

I play on there btw. Never can seem to win big. Just goes up an down and back up again :dry:
