Well, I've got a folder which I gave a blank name using the ALT command, and now I can't get rid of it.. Looked at a tutorial about using the dir/x command in CMD but I couldn't navigate straight to the folder where the blank-named-folder resides (happens to be D:/FromDesktop/the-blank-folder).
Help?
What do you mean "I can't get rid of it"?
What error are you getting?

Have you tried moving everything else out of the parent folder and deleting that?

For file manipulation there is a great app called Total Commander, and there is en even greater softwarepack called Ultima Prime using Total Commander.

Next time you reboot, straight to the folder and delete it, before whatever is in it is used by some program.
I almost forgot. There is a great utility I've had on my PC for years. It's called MoveOnBoot. It's just what you need. :)
