Today i rcvd a brand new Mac G5 from a law suit I won. This machine is faster than i've tested on the pc side. Now i don't know much about Apple, and i won't bore u with it's impressive specs ( http://www.apple.com/g5processor ), but the extra hardware and software that came with it is even more amazing to me (tot over $8K). One software is Virtual PC for Mac. Already installed Win2000, WinXP and Linux. All can be run simultaneously along with Mac OS X. The funny part was when I discovered that Windows lack of security could damage/compromise ALL existing OS (trojans, hack, et...).

btw, i'm dl/ul with KL++ using the Win2K and WinXP OS, will install Linux tomorrow. :D :D :D

wtf??
what was the lawsuit (if you don't mind me asking)?

the G5 looks really good, shame there's a lot of controversy over apple's claims about it's power...

It was about a Mac chain store (can't say who), caused me to file ch 11 for my bus. During negot., they were shocked that i'm asking for $$ & this mac. i'm telling u, here's the rundown on KL++:
Win 2K 16 dl / 22 ul
Win XP 28 dl / 13 ul
My other PC (win2k) is 12 dl / 7 ul

can't wait till i install linux :D :D :D :D :D

I could build a multi CPU computer for a lot less than a G5, that would piss all over it. Bang for bucks, they don't add up. Unless you fiddle the test results ....but ... Apple wouldn't do that, would they??

OMG that hella good. I hated MAC's before but i think you changed my mind. The highest a pc goes is 2gig ram and 2 300gig HDD.

not if you get ide converters, etc, ive seen more than that running, servers these days hit 3 gigs of ram and more i think

Great mac nikita, its interesting that youve got xp on it, so all windows programs run on it? like a virtual os?

if so thats great, amazing win dude

I don't think so...

indeed, i was under the impression that many servers were running vast amounts of ram and hard drives

you can run 4 200 gigs as well, with an ide converter in a pci solt i think, although dont trust me on it

edit: just looked at ebay, and look what came up...
