If your using XP get a copy of IconPackager,its cool and allows you to change all the icons.

nemo told you how and i want to know what it is you are trying to change the icon of???

Alot of executable files are staticly linked to a .ico file in the diretory, if you take the icon you wanna use, and replace it with the .ico file that is there, using the same name it will work.

Again this is for "some things" not all. Or use a program like the one mentioned, it does common ones.

Might I inquire if anyone knows where I can get a serial for IconPackager and for CursorXP (latest versions of both if possible)?

Microangalo edit icons, i think it changes them too.
