Anyone had try VDS Raptor 1+ ?

Is the VPS fast? How long does the setup time take?

I used to run that same exact machine. Works well, just hope you don't need support.

BTW, is it possible to get more than 10MB/s with this package? And is the support really bad?

i got above 10MB/s at times (depending on the torrent of course) ...support is not really bad, but I will say its lacking

What OS should I used? What torrent client is the best? And do they capped your bandwith if you exceed 1TB ?

better if you go for linux

now that boxes comes with 1Gbit speed not 10 Mbit

if you are talking about this ones ?

and support is much improved this days

they do not cap you for 1 Tb
and don't' cap you for 2 TB
and most likely for 3 TB or over aether :)

read other treads, it will makes bit more clear I suppose :D

They dont cap at all (at least not that I can see) .... Ive done over 16TB in a month before.

My friend is on the VPS Raptor 1+. It's alright. I've used it before. I managed to get 5MB/s down, 5MB/s up at times. Usually, 2MB/s up the rest of the time.

Oh and he's on windows web edition.

they don't do web edition on VDS's

all vds's from hosting-ie comes with windows 2003 enterprise edition for free
if you select windows of course

and all Rabtor + 's comes with 1Gbit shared uplink so you can reach 10MB easily I've seen 20MB some times
