can someone point me to the HDBits IRC channel? I found my account disabled today, which is strange because I cannot remember breaking any rules. so, naturally, I want to find out what's up.

To be invited to the IRC channel, you need to be invited by an Op if you got no account...
The only other IRC alternative is PMing a staff member.

yeah I figured that much. #hdbits on p2p-network is invite only.
I couldn't find any HDBits reps in the Commmunity Reps at FST topic either.

word of advise: don't buy OVH servers from resellers. my account waws diabled because someone upped an HDBits internal to bit-hdtv from the same IP that my seedbox (which I no longer have) was on. I'm not exatly sure how that was possible, probably something to do with the IP having been reassigned to a different server after mine was turned off or some such...

bottom line is, don't ever buy a seedbox from a reseller or use a shared seedbox if you're serious about keeping your account on trackers. my account was unbanned after the staff checked that I have not actually upped anything to bit-hdtv, though I got a 10-day warning. still, better a warning than a ban.

Probably got disabled for inactivity if you didn't cheat or something. But please tell us what they say in irc.
