Ok here is the problem, im currently seeding fine to all my trackers apart from bitmetv. At first all my bitmetv stuff was green on utorrents and able to seed, but on the bitmetv website i was seen as unconnectable. However now they have turned red, where was all my torrents on my other trackers are green and working fine, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what the hell is wrong.

P.s i had one headache after another with my pc this week, i think its time 4 me to throw it out the window and hook up my commodore 64 up and wack in the tapes, never had problems with that.

has your MAC address changed? I know on my router I have the option to lock my mack address which locks in the ports I forwarded... just a thought

No idea if my mac code has changed how would I go about checking that it has and go about fixing it if it has changed?

The newest utorrent is 1.9 alpha build 13582. Be sure your client is not banned at bmtv. :)

In order to use our tracker you must configure your client to use any port range that does not contain those ports (a range within the region 49152 through 65535 is preferable, cf. IANA (http://www.iana.org/assignments/port-numbers)). Notice that some clients, like Azureus 2.0.7.0 or higher, use a single port for all torrents, while most others use one port per open torrent. The size of the range you choose should take this into account (best-practice ranges are typically less than 10 ports wide). There is no benefit whatsoever in choosing a wide range, and there are possible security implications.

Maybe it's because you have limited number of torrents you can run simultaneously?

There's a limit on how many torrents you can have as active (up and down) .. and any torrent exceeding that amount will appear 'red'.. I think

If you have a router, you can check your MAC adress by logging in on it and checking which computers are connected to it (the adress to a router is usally 192.168.0.1).

hi guys thanks for the advice i just reinstalled utorrents and it started working again and i found out all this headache was my own fault. Since i had issues with utorrents earlier i think while i was messing about on my pc i accidently installed utorrent 1.8 again on here. So i have just reinstalled 1.8.1 and everything is working fine.

once again appreciated the help, and the only reason i did not figure out this easy fix earlier because i was so certain that i had utorrent 1.8.1 running and had not realised i put it back to an older version.

It is not on your end. I get that sometimes during times of heavy usage on the site. They have a horrible hardwre setup and refuse to upgrade their server. This causes massive slow down during high traffic times and can even affect the tracker causing everything to turn red and unconnectable
