Looking to start a collection of FLAC. What site would have the largest collection of FLAC music? I'm thinking what.cd or waffles?

If if you complain that some flac rips on what.cd aren't "proper", you can go to a link that checks all the logs, and if you count the 100% perfect flac rips at what, you'll still get a magnitude more than at e/pedros

If you want to have the piece of mind knowing that all the albums you are going to download were ripped properly then you'll download from P or E. The uploaders at these two sites take great pride in their rips.

If neither sites has the album you're looking for, then I would highly recommend your next stop be Waffles. Since this site has a group dedicated to verifying proper lossless rips.

waffles has the waffle iron, but if i recommend what. as long as theres a log/cue and its a 100% what else do you need... they have the biggest selection period.

How many torrents have BT ?. What have over 70K FLAC torrents, so that's pretty much the best source for it ! :)

About 19000. But the quality is way better than What.cd. You'll find more newer releases in Flac than in Pedro's though.

If you want quantity, of course what is the place... BUT keep in mind that a log/cue file does not garantee authenticity of the rip, and you always run the risk of catching a transcode... you never known :shifty:

you can actually check every track crc against perfect rip database so there is a way to be sure that you downloaded the right thing.. but with dedicated flac trackers it's better to get what you want without worries or extra job..
