I have 2 things i want to join but dont know how, here's the info:

I have a picture and I have an audio file, i want to join them both together to make a kind of fake transmission, an example of what i want to do is when a station runs into technical difficulties a silly image comes up and someone usually says that they have ran into difficulties and thatthey are working on it and you should be returned to your program shortly.

At the moment i have something called EO Video but thats not working as i want it to. I know there must be another program out there, its not for a webpage so website building tools are not necessary. At the moment i currently edit images using Paint Shop Pro 7 and Animation Shop 3 and neither of them can add music to things, taht I am aware of.

Im sure that this question is like a stab in the dark but I hope that someone may know what I mean and reply......

Thanks in advance for any help that is sufficient to my post.

if not i KNOW TMPGEnc v12 (http://www.peerweb.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpBB2&file=viewtopic&p=3713&highlight=tmpgenc#3713), maybe the newer versions as well, will accept BMP as video input and WAV as audio input, and will create a MPEG-1 video per your specs

well mpg is smaller then uncompressed avi's ;)
windows media encoder (http://download.microsoft.com/download/winmediatech40/wmenc71/7.1/W98NT42KMe/EN-US/wmencoder71.exe) will do it too. (but you have to save as wmv) they can be any size depending on quality.
